Since late last year, we’ve been partnering with Loughborough College to create two new courses in Food Safety. These courses, focusing on Level 2 and Level 3 respectively, have now been released.

The courses focus on the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety management system, which helps food businesses comply with legal responsibilities and ensure food is safe for consumption. Using videos, interactivity and quizzes at the end of each module, learners find out about food contamination and how the risks can be controlled throughout the food production process, from purchase to serving. They are designed to be engaging, interactive and comprehensive.

The course includes a detailed Handbook that includes additional information, resources and checklists for best practice in the workplace. Throughout the seven modules of the courses, learners are directed to the relevant parts of the Handbook.

Our courses are suitable for students, employees and supervisors, including subcontractors and external partners. Level 3 in particular includes information suitable for supervisor-level roles.
