The UK Bribery Act 2010 references bribery and corruption in the workplace under Section 7, stating that an employee and the organisation can be held liable for a bribery offence in the workplace.

Under Section 7 of the UK Bribery Act 2010, businesses can be found liable for corruption if there is evidence that they had failed to implement adequate procedures to protect the workplace against corruption and bribery.

An organisation needs to ensure that the adequate procedures are well communicated around the business, ensuring all employees and associated persons are aware and trained about the procedures.
