Our Respect in the Workplace eLearning course examines types of discrimination that may affect the workplace. Looking at issues such as gender, race, age, and weight, the course highlights how important it is to foster an equal and diverse environment in order to be an effective team.
The course also explores harassment in the workplace, and looks at ways in which organisations can promote respect using specific policies and laws to secure a consistent level of understanding across all members of staff.

There are many benefits of having a diverse workforce. This module looks at what is meant by equality, diversity and unlawful discrimination, and the importance of equality and diversity in the workplace. The module explores examples of discrimination and enables learners to understand its influence on behaviour that can lead to discrimination in the workplace.
Harassment of people with protected characteristics is considered discriminatory and unlawful in many countries. This module looks at harassment and how it can affect individuals and organisational culture. Learners will find out what is considered as harassment, explore real-life scenarios that demonstrate the effect of harassment on individuals, and how to raise concerns.
Respect at work is vital for an effective and productive workforce. Everyone has the right to equal opportunity and to be treated with dignity and respect. The module enables learners to understand what is meant by respect in the workplace, its effects on creating a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace, identifying acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and raising concerns.
Learners are tested on their knowledge throughout the course with short quizzes and feedback on the answers. Each module has a short assessment. Learners will need to answer 80% of the questions correctly to complete the module. Learners can also revisit the modules and take the assessment again to improve their score.
