Our Slips and Trips courses are available as part of the Health and Safety eLearning Suite in one great package.
Slips, Trips and Falls Training
Our slips and trips online training course details how to recognise and remove common causes of workplace slips and trips, and also offers pointers on unexpected potential hazards that may be missed when conducting a risk assessment. Help your employees recognise and understand that preventing slips, trips and falls in the workplace is everyone's concern, and in the interest of the entire organisation with DeltaNet International.
All of our Health and Safety training courses can be tailored to meet your specific training requirements and corporate branding. Depending on the depth of revision, this can either be carried-out by your administrators using the Adapt Authoring Tool or we'll do it for you! Please get in touch to find out more.
In the financial year 2015/16 there were 119,000 reported incidents involving a slip, trip, or fall at work – in fact, slipping and tripping is the most common (not to mention most preventable) cause of all workplace injury in the UK! Whilst just 2% of these resulted in fatalities, that is not to say that slips and trips shouldn't be taken seriously in the workplace, or that they cannot cause painful, and even permanent, damage to your workforce and organisation.
It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that staff members are provided with a safe, and as risk-free as possible, environment to work in, and to undertake regular risk assessments and offer training to this effect. Employees that do not offer this protection face legal action, not to mention the damage a serious slip, trip or fall could cause to the organisation's morale and reputation at large.
