Our Managing Stress in Your Team Challenge course explores the following topics:

HSE Six Management Standards
HSE Six Management Standards
The Health and Safety Executive provides six management standards that can be used as a guide to good practice for managing stress in your team. They encourage employees to share their concerns and provide a starting point for one to one discussion. The course provides realistic examples of workplace stress in teams.
The Line Manager Competency Tool
The Line Manager Competency Tool
Using the line manager competency tool, you can check your behaviour and management style to see how effective you really are at preventing and reducing stress in your team. This course focuses on the four core competencies assessed in the tool and examines the way in which these correlate to stress management in a team.
Individual Risk Assessments
Individual Risk Assessments
If an employee tells you that they are feeling stressed, you must not ignore this. Conducting an individual risk assessment can be beneficial to both the employee and the company, raising any issues around stress management and making sure they are resolved. Some employees may even request an individual risk assessment.
Group Risk Assessments
Group Risk Assessments
Group risk assessments are just as important as individual risk assessments. Carrying one out can help your team to feel valued and work more efficiently and effectively as a group. The course explores how best to conduct a group risk assessment in the context of work-related stress and how they can help to manage the areas of stress in your team.
