Relevant to all industries and sectors, the IOSH Managing Safely online training course is specifically designed to provide clear and comprehensive instruction to managers and supervisors on key health and safety practices.

The course features a range of interactive exercises, quizzes, drag and drop exercises and case studies, to test your understanding. Throughout the course, there are also a number of short films to further explain key concepts and a series of animations that explain key terminology.

Who is it for?

The IOSH Managing Safely course is aimed at managers, team leaders and supervisors with health and safety responsibility for teams or departments.

The course is aimed at all sectors, but it does feature some tailored content relevant to your job role or industry type. In the first module, you get to set your preferences for the type of information you would like to see, which you can change at any time. On successful completion of the assessment and work-based project, you will be issued with an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

Accessiblity

You can complete the course from any PC, laptop, tablet or phone at any time. Whilst the course will work on any device, for best optimisation we recommend you access the majority of the course from a PC or laptop.

Certification

Once completed, IOSH will issue you with an official certificate. The Managing Safely course is based on life-long learning so has no expiration date. However, it’s viewed as best practice to complete the refresher after 3 years.

How long will it take?

IOSH recommend that students spend around 24 hours completing the course, although it can be completed at your own pace, whatever this may be.
