Darren founded DeltaNet International in 1999, to capitalise on the emerging eLearning sector.
Prior to his role at DeltaNet International, Darren had worked for several private and public sector organisations, combining strong technical skills with commercial acumen and leadership.
DeltaNet International is now acknowledged as leading provider of Compliance and HSSE eLearning solutions to customers around the world, and Darren has played a pivotal role in developing the business. Darren often speaks at eLearning and Compliance conferences and is regularly published for his thought leadership.
Away from work, Darren juggles family life and the demands of his four children with his other interests of walking, cycling, Aston Villa FC, and watching international cricket.
Learning Design Director
Stacey re-joined the DeltaNet International team in January 2019 as Key Account Director. In her new role, Stacey is responsible for supporting DeltaNet International's largest accounts, forging lasting relationships through strategic consultation, identifying creative solutions and ensuring effective implementation.
Stacey had previously worked for DeltaNet International between 2008 and 2012 as a Project Manager and Instructional Designer.
During her DeltaNet International hiatus, Stacey was responsible for introducing online and blended learning to Domino's Pizza UK And ROI as the Head of Training before going on to become an internal consultant at Lockheed Martin UK as part of the Talent and Organisational Capability team.
When she's not working, Stacey can be found training in Karate, honing her Archery skills or indulging in her passions for motors and music.
Jenny joined DeltaNet in 2012 taking up the position of Business Essentials Manager, and soon took on responsibility for customer services and finance and for the last 6 years has also had responsibility for the platform development team.
Jenny is now responsible for all HR needs at DeltaNet, a role she has previously held with Britvic.
In her spare time Jenny enjoys seeing friends and holidaying.
Chief Technical Officer
Having completed his Degree in Networking & Communications Technologies, Jason began his career with a large international e-learning company as their 1st line technical support. From here, he continually expanded his role to incorporate programming and sales aspects, eventually moving on to consultative software meetings and presentations for key clients.
With a view to progress his career towards development, Jason joined the Deltanet International development team in June 2017 and is now helps develop the Astute platform and infrastructure.
Away from work, Jason enjoys spending time with friends, go-kart racing and badminton.
James joined DeltaNet International in July 2016 to co-ordinate the marketing activities of the company and develop a strategy to grow the marketing capabilities.
Having completed a Marketing degree in 2000, James began his career with Cadbury before moving on to roles with employers including Bass Brewers (now Coors) and BMW before arriving at DeltaNet International.
Initially responsible for both creating and implementing the marketing strategy it quickly became apparent that more hands were needed in order to achieve the company's objectives and now James manages a team of four, with more to follow in 2019.
Away from work James enjoys spending time with his family, having two lively young boys, and also enjoys playing 5 a side, watching his beloved Leeds United and listening to house music.
Content Team Leader
In September 2003, having just completed his degree studying Interactive Multimedia, Rob started his career at DeltaNet International as a Flash Programmer. He joined the content development team and became heavily involved with the creation of our Business Essentials suite of courses, bringing together audio, video, graphics and animation within Flash and other software to form the content of our e-learning.
As technology moves on, Rob has developed his skills and learnt new programming languages to enable DeltaNet to continue creating interactive e-learning. In recent years he has been involved with DeltaNet's adoption of the Adapt project, and works with this on a day-to-day basis.
Rob is now the Studio Team Leader, working with and managing the content development team, to continue creating our e-learning content.
When not at work Rob enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, maintaining an allotment and continuously renovating the house - he loves a good 'project'.
Instructional Design Team Leader
Neil joined DeltaNet in May 2014 to support a major collaborative Adapt project. This work helped DeltaNet's content team shift from flash-based to responsive design and development – a move from which they haven't looked back and continue to look forward.
A Communications Studies graduate, Neil worked in marketing within the news and magazine publishing industry before making a career change to IT Training. A long term practitioner in eLearning (floppy-CD-cloud), Neil has worked in a variety of roles throughout the production cycle. This has involved wide ranging projects across multiple business sectors - from financial services to public and third sector, broadcasting and entertainment, energy and construction, to automotive and pharmaceutical.
Outside of work Neil has played sport and music, and continues his greatest challenge of raising a family, whilst remaining upright and keeping a smile on his face.
Senior Content Developer
Angelos joined DeltaNet International in October 2014 as a Multimedia Designer after emigrating from his homeland, Greece, late in 2013. His particular skill-set includes video production (story-boarding, direction, camera operation and post-production), 2D animation, graphic design, and audio production.
Using his creative skills, Angelos is responsible for visualising new course concepts, and ensuring our eLearning is lively and engaging. Angelos works on all aspects of our off-the-shelf offering, as well as on large bespoke and tailored projects, and after over 5 years at DeltaNet has progressed into a senior developer role.
Outside of work, Angelos focuses on his love of music and plays many instruments, including Lead Guitar in his band, Saucy Samurai Spice. He can also be found at home cooking Greek food, hosting BBQs, watching films and reading comic books.
Chris joined DeltaNet in January 2019 as an Instructional Designer.
Chris completed a BA (Hons) in English in 2005 and an MA in English Language Teaching in 2017, and has a background in a range of education and training, including teaching English in Italy and Spain and more recently in the UK Higher Education sector.
Chris currently focuses on 'off the shelf' courses on a range of Health & Safety and compliance topics.
Away from work Chris enjoys walking, gaming, cooking (and eating!), as well as trying to speak Spanish and Italian.
Senior 3D Content Developer
Julie joined the content development team in May 2018, specializing in 3D and image manipulation she can create new styles of content and bring a new skill set to the team.
With a degree in Animation, Julie started her career in 2006 in the digital signage industry creating content for display in social spaces such as business receptions, cinemas, schools, etc. for customers such as Sony, MC Saatchi, The David Beckham Academy, VUE Cinemas, Mercedes-Benz and Coventry University.
In 2011 she was made redundant and decided that self-employment may be an option and it turned out to be the right decision. Doing so allowed her to further develop skills not only in 3D but also in motion graphics and visual effects.
Marrying these 3 styles together opened the door to work in many different types of sectors; mechanical engineering and visualisation, conceptual rendering and visualisation, e-learning (gaming), app development, web design and managing teams and projects deadlines to deliver great content.
In May 2018 Julie decided to go back to full time employment and joined the DeltaNet team. Julie works on all aspects of our off-the-shelf offering, as well as on large bespoke and tailored projects, and has now progressed into a senior developer role.
When Julie is not in the office, she enjoys supporting her very healthy gaming habit, travelling and going to see live music.
Major Projects Lead
Janice joined DeltaNet International back in August 2005 in the role of Project Manager/Instructional Designer. She has worked with a diverse range of organisations in the public and private sectors over the years, from scoping needs to delivery of the final product.
Janice is a graduate of the University of Sunderland where she studied BSc (Hons) in Computer Studies. Prior to joining DeltaNet she worked in similar roles and has nearly 20 years' experience of designing and project managing development of DeltaNet products, bespoke eLearning and blended learning solutions. She also looks after the larger translation projects.
Janice is passionate about her role within DeltaNet and is committed to designing and delivering excellent eLearning courses which exceed the customers' expectations whilst keeping within timescales and budget. She works tirelessly to get things perfect for customers and constantly seeks opportunities to explore new innovative ways of providing highly interactive, engaging learning experiences.
Interactive Content Developer
Sam joined DeltaNet International in June 2017 to join the Interactive Content Development team and help build our courses.
Having studied at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham and graduating with an animation degree, Sam began his e-Learning career in 2015, using his animation and illustration skills to produce more engaging content.
Sam then brought those skills and techniques over to DeltaNet, further pushing boundaries and increasing the quality of our products. He is now a key member of the team, helping not just on the graphical front, but also in the back end coding the courses to have a more bespoke look.
Sam always enters the office as a friendly and bubbly character, but the same applies outside of work, as his passion for creating cartoons and gaming (especially anything Sonic the Hedgehog related) takes up his spare time.
Project Manager and Instructional Designer
Tara joined DeltaNet International in August 2014 to head up the redevelopment of our off the shelf Compliance and health and Safety courses. Updating the content and design to be fresh, modern and functional across multiple devices by using the Adapt framework.
Having completed a Certificate in Training Practice and Post Graduate Certificate in HR Management, Tara has had a diverse career working in both customer and training services for RAC Motoring Services and within HR development at Carillion Construction Ltd before arriving at DeltaNet International.
Over the years Tara has been responsible for the continued development of the Health and Safety suite of courses, the development of the Take5 short courses and has worked with key customers to create bespoke learning solutions to meet their needs. Tara current role focuses on creating bespoke learning solutions.
Away from work Tara enjoys competing in Archery Tournaments, watching films, playing Pokémon Go, Photography and travelling the globe.
Melissa joined DeltaNet in May 2019 as an Instructional Designer.
Melissa completed her PhD in Old English literature in 2019 and has 10 years of experience working in university administration alongside her studies. No longer wishing to pursue an academic career trajectory, she joined DeltaNet as an instructional designer in order to deploy her skills in teaching and curriculum support in a more creative fashion.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys writing speculative fiction, camping, and indulging her eclectic musical tastes at live gigs and festivals.
Interactive Content Developer
Liam joined DeltaNet in March 2019 to help create and develop e-learning courses on the Adapt framework.
After completing a HND in Computing and Systems Development in 2016, Liam began his career working at the Motorpoint Arena & National Ice Centre as a web developer before moving to DeltaNet.
During his downtime Liam enjoys running, with the Robin Hood Half Marathon being his major highlight. Liam also has the unfortunate pleasure in supporting his beloved Arsenal and helps coach a disabled football team at Bingham Town F.C. He also has an appetite for films, making numerous trips to the cinema, especially if that film happens to be Marvel.
Interactive Content Developer
Matt joined DeltaNet International in June 2020 to help design and develop e-learning courses on the Adapt framework.
Having studied Creative Digital Media at the University of Worcester and graduating in 2014, Matt began his career at Dunelm as a Digital Designer/Developer before joining DeltaNet International.
Away from work, Matt enjoys hiking, gaming, travelling to new places and binge watching the latest must-see box set.
Damien studied interactive media with animation at Sheffield Hallam University. During his degree he worked on several interesting projects, including a demo game that people played by moving and interacting with objects projected on a two metre square floor.
After graduation he moved to a role in Nottingham where he gained valuable experience in web development. This introduced him to the eLearning industry and gave him many of the skills he uses in his current position at DeltaNet. He enjoys both his job role and the company's culture.
Outside of work, Damien enjoys going to gigs and watching live music including having been to Leeds Festival for eleven consecutive years. He's a keen Coalville Town FC fan and enjoyed his fifteen minutes of fame after donating his replica shirt to the team when they didn't have one big enough for their new signing - an act that earned him a mention in the Guardian Sports Quiz of the Week.
Dan joined DeltaNet International in 2003 as a web developer having previously worked in design companies in Brighton. Dan worked on developing and supporting applications used by DeltaNet to create and deliver Learning content.
In 2014 DeltaNet joined the Adapt Learning open source project and lead DeltaNet's contribution to the development of the Adapt framework and authoring tool. Dan continues to contribute to the Adapt open source project and supporting and developing DeltaNet's Adapt Builder and plugins.
Dan splits his spare time between his family and teaching Aikido.
John joined DeltaNet International in July 2014 as a web site programmer.
He completed a degree in Mathematics in 1992 and had various programming jobs in magazine and book distribution before joining DeltaNet.
Initially responsible for maintaining the existing DeltaNet elearning website and then rewriting it to become the new Astute platform along with a team of two other programmers.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing video games and watching Leicester City.
Nicola (known round here as Nicky) began working for DeltaNet International in 2015. She works part-time Mondays and Fridays taking care of all our bookkeeping and financial admin. During the rest of the week, Nicky also puts her financial skills to good use at a local Accountants, and helps out at her family business.
When she's not being a financial whizz, Nicky enjoys socialising with friends and can often be found enjoying a Wednesday-night pub quiz. She's also a keen gym/sports lover and often travels around the UK to watch her favourite bands perform live. Not many people know that Nicky is also an extraordinary flute-player and she still practices the instrument regularly.
Much has changed since Helen joined DeltaNet International in May 2017 as a Marketing Executive. The team has more than doubled in size (and is still growing rapidly!) and Helen's role has evolved and refocused so that she now heads up our Digital PR efforts and takes care of our brand identity.
It's Helen's job to manage DeltaNet's online presence, help generate referral traffic, and to support our SEO efforts by sourcing media/press opportunities and monitoring and reacting to industry news and trends.
Helen has a BA and MA in English, so spends much of her time writing promotional content and thought-pieces for link acquisition, whilst the rest of her time is well-spent pondering over analytics like domain rankings and keywords.
Away from work, Helen is a foodie who loves to cook. She can often be found in her kitchen trying out exciting new recipes for gatherings of friends and family. She also has big plans to grow a green-thumb and plant an enviable herb/flower garden too – watch this space!

Charlotte started at DeltaNet International in summer 2018. She joined the growing marketing team as a Product Marketing Executive for the Health and Safety suite of courses and has now moved across to the Content team as an Instructional Designer.
She graduated with a degree in English from the University of Nottingham in 2010 and went on to work for an educational supplies business and an audiobooks company. She has experience with the full marketing mix and especially enjoys content writing.
Outside of work, Charlotte loves spending time with her husband, daughter and cat. She writes short stories and secretly thinks she's the next Stephen King.
Graphic Designer and Multimedia Engineer
Phil has worked in design for 25 years, developing eLearning and multi-media projects for a wide range of clients (including BP, Shell, and Sega, Sony, Britvic, and Santander to name a few!). Recently, his creative insights have shifted focus, and he now works as part of our busy Marketing Team. Here, Phil is responsible for all our web-based graphics, branding, and exhibition collateral. Additionally, he is often asked to contribute his skills as a photographer, both for company events and other media. Phil takes pride in his visual communication skills, and ensures to keep abreast of emerging technologies in the field to help shape his creative work.
Away from work, Phil enjoys spending time listening to music, particularly Prince! At the weekends, you'll find him foraging for elusive black gold (AKA: Vinyl) and watching his beloved Leicester City FC (they won the Premier League in 2016 you know!). He's also a qualified member of the Royal Photographic Society, and is known to be a photography enthusiast in his spare time.
Product Marketing Executive
Shruti joined DeltaNet International in February 2019 as a Product Marketing Executive to support our growing Marketing team with the Compliance suite of courses.
Shruti is a graduate of the Sheffield Hallam University where she studied MSc in Information Technology and Project Management. She started out as a Technical Author for SaaS providers within the Big Data and education sectors. After realising a passion for marketing, she gained a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and transitioned into an all-round marketeer in her last role - promoting training and professional services to the accountancy sector.
Outside of work, you will find Shruti enjoying all the good things in life – music, food and art. There is always a new play to go to watch or a restaurant to try out or an art exhibit she would absolutely hate to miss! She loves city breaks with her husband and music from the 70s (born a decade too late!).
Joe became part of DeltaNet International in August 2014 as a Client Account Executive, responsible to maintaining strong relationships across the company's customer base.
Joining the company having completed a degree at Sheffield Hallam University, achieving a 2:1 BSc in Sports Development, DeltaNet gave Joe the opportunity as his first full time position upon graduating university.
Initially responsible for client relationships Joe quickly developed his business acumen and midway through 2016 moved across to his current position of Sales Consultant, and is now responsible for consulting with new organisation looking to utilise DeltaNet product portfolio.
Away from work Joe enjoys playing football on the weekend as part of local Loughborough team Falcons FC, and seeing new parts of the world with regular trips away.
Richard's role at DeltaNet International began as an Account Manager, revolving around building relationships with customers and ensuring they are happy with the products and services received and he has now changed role to a Sales Consultant.
Before joining the team, Richard built over 15 years' experience in sales and management roles, from account management to new business development, sales manager, and business general manager within a variety of industries. Richard is extremely passionate and motivated to achieve the best for the company and clients alike.
Away from work he enjoys family time with his wife and children, and has a passion for the outdoors. His interests include carp fishing, where he has written for published magazines and got involved with product development and filming. He is also an avid Liverpool fan and spent years playing and watching Rugby union, so Twickenham is like his second home. Something that Richard is very passionate about is his charity work for Lucy's Bowl and Help for Heroes events.
Gemma joined DeltaNet International in August 2014 to support DeltaNet's client base as one of their Account Managers. In September 2015 Gemma transferred across to the New Business team to assist with new business generation. After a year out on maternity leave a new post was taken in September 2018 on the Customer Service team as a Product Specialist.
Away from work you will find Gemma running around after her toddler, in a coffee shop socialising or at a local Pilates class.
Quality Assurance Specialist
During his time off at University, Ryan came into DeltaNet International temporarily as an admin assistant. He joined the team permanently upon his graduation in July 2013 as an instructional designer working with clients such as RFU and HBO Europe. In this time he also completed Stephen Lloyd training in Grammar, Editing & proofreading, which helped to shape the existing DeltaNet writing style guidelines.
Since February 2016, he joined the support team as a Quality Assurance Specialist and now gives the final user acceptance test of all generic courses before releasing them.
As a graduate in Performing Arts for Film and TV, he has been able to use some of these skills in several projects, acting as director for video shoots (sometimes getting involved as an actor himself), ensuring that the end product meets the client's requirements. He also resources the actors for the voice overs used in our products, and directs and records them using our in house recording studio.
In his spare time, he enjoys creating music with his colleague and good friend Angelos as part of the band Saucy Samurai Spice, spending time with his partner, and playing video games.
Adam joined the DeltaNet support team in February 2018. He has had many roles in many fields in his career from account management for a polymer distributor to assistant manager of a high street bookmakers.
When not at work Adam likes to spend time with his daughter and is a lover of the cinema, especially science fiction.
Helen joined DeltaNet International as an Office Administrator in November 2019 having previously worked at Dunelm's head office and Pantherella.
Outside of work, Helen likes to travel with her husband. She spends weekends out in her camper van or glamping: Wales, Norfolk and Cornwall are her favourite destinations. She is a talented baker and cake decorator and has been a guide leader for over 15 years. She also enjoys crafting, from sewing to crochet.
