Topic 1 - Understanding Disability

This section details the The Equality Act 2010 and the legal definition of disability and why its important to know this. You will also get an understanding of other relevant parts within this act as well as recognising the difference between equality and equity.

Topic 2 - Reasonable adjustments

This section provides an understanding of what reasonable adjustments are and what they are not. It also details the process of providing reasonable adjustment from understanding an individuals needs, to implementing, monitoring and reviewing any adjustments made.
